Your City Commission continuously recruits citizens to assist in the decision-making process through voluntary service on one of the 14 Advisory Boards or Commissions. Presently, more than 150 of our citizens are actively involved in such community service.
The City Commission is primarily responsible for setting city goals and policy guidelines, approving city budget measures, and providing direction to the city manager.
